Upon graduation from LVH, I attended Arkansas AM&N College, now University of Arkansas @ Pine Bluff (UAPB). I graduated with a math degree and moved to Kansas City Mo., where I taught algebra and geometry, and coach basketball. After three years of teaching, I started working for Southwestern Bell Telephone Company where I started out working in the engineering department, but moved through five different departments over a 33 and half years period and retired as Vice President Industry Markets. During my tenure with Southwestern Bell/AT&T, I obtained an Executive MBA from SMU. I stayed very active during the formative years with SBC/AT&T, playing basketball daily during my lunch at the YMCA, and finally gave up the sport as I approached 40 and took up the game of golf, which I play on a regular basis now. I have been truly blessed, and now I am enjoying the "platinum" years of retirement.
School Story

I have many fond memories of high school. Those were very pleasant years of my life. The choir and band trips that we took to participant in musical festivals in California provided memories that I cherished beyond graduation for LVH. But the most memorable trip was the one to Reno where we beat Rancho for the fourth time during that senior year on our way to becoming state champs. Go Wildcats!!!!
