Beverly Trumble Buy 

December 31, 1946  -  April 14, 2026

It is with much sadness that we announce the passing of Beverly Trumble Buy, age 79, on April 14, 2026.  She had been residing with her son Ryan Buy and daughter-in-law Suki Buy in Salt Lake City, Utah.   Beverly was born on December 31, 1946, in Las Vegas, NV, to Russell Trumble and Hazel (Farnsworth) Trumble, formerly of Kanab, Utah. 

She attended John C Fremont Junior High School, and graduated from Las Vegas High School in 1965. 

Beverly married Burt H Buy in 1971 in Pioche, Nevada.  They lived in Las Vegas where Burt’s long career in newspapers flourished.  He worked as General Manager of the Las Vegas Sun under the legendary Hank Greenspun, among other ground-breaking news and sports endeavors.

A loving and devoted wife and mother, Beverly was busy raising their only son, Ryan Buy.  His marriage to Suki blessed them with two grandchildren, Sydney and Scarlett.  She is also survived by two stepchildren, their three children, and many nieces and nephews. 

Beverly was preceded in death by her parents, Hazel and Russell Trumble, and her beloved husband Burt Hewes Buy, who passed away 26 Sep 2020 at age 92.  Her only sister, DeLois “Dee” Trumble Hale, eight years her senior, passed away 47 days later on 31 May 2026.   Surely the family is enjoying a blessed family reunion now.
