I fondly remember Carmen.  She not only was a LVHS classmate but also lived up the street from me through high school.  I tried unsuccessfully to locate her when I first discovered this Class of 1965 website.  Unfortunately, we were unable to reconnect before her death.  “Rest In Peace,” Carmen.

I knew Carmen from 8th grade at Roy Martin.  She was always friendly and nice to everyone.  Mary, i made a special effort to locate Carmen when we were trying to find all classmates for our 50th reunion.  She was one of those who didn’t show up in my usual searching sources.  It was always more difficult to locate the girls because of potential name changes.  When I saw the obituary in the RJ last week my first thought was “that looks like Carmen Lujan.”  It’s interesting that she had several daughters, because I think she was one of several sisters.

Judy, I was surprised to see Carmen’s name when I received the “In Memory Updates” email.  It would have been great if we could have reconnected with her. I agree, she was very friendly and pleasant to be around.  I really don’t remember anything about her siblings.  Thanks for your efforts.
