Julia Jaffe (Hodson)

 

Julia (Jaffe) Hodson, 69, a retired Computer Analyst Manager of Las Vegas, passed away April 30, 2016. She was born April 13, 1947 in Salt Lake City, Utah and had been a resident of Nevada since 1959.

Julia was married to Thomas Hodson in December of 1968 and they shared a wonderful marriage for 47 years. Julia is survived by her husband, Thomas Hodson; three sisters, Debra Goodman, Bertha Johnson, and Helen Ransom; a brother, Russell Jaffe; and sister-in-law, Nancy Hunter.

No services will be held.

I have fond memories of Julia.  She had a great can-do spirit.  I remember when

a few of us guys had not realised until the last minute that we were supposed to get a corsage for our dance

partners in the Rhymette Review, Julia ran to her house and got some roses (gardenias?) and taped them very nicely with lace and safety pins and got them back to us in the nick of time.  My condolences to her family and friends.
