PHOTO OF PENN FROM HIS TIME AT JC FREMONT.  I REMEMBER THAT HE USED TO WEAR A BLACK BERET, WHICH SEEMED ODD TO NON-WORLDY, NON-COSMOPOLITAN ME.  I ALSO THINK HE TOLD ME HIS DAD HAD WORKED FOR RADIO FREE EUROPE.  DOES ANYONE ELSE REMEMBER THAT?
