Sharon Taylor (Hardeman)

Sharon LaRae Taylor Hardeman

Sharon Taylor Hardeman lost her long battle with illness on April 1, 2021.  She is survived by her husband of nearly 52 years, James Ernest Hardeman.  They were married in Las Vegas on May 3, 1969.  They have one daughter, Teresa Ann Hardeman Lindsey and one granddaughter, who she dearly loved, Leilani Nicole Lindsey.

James was a career member of the U.S. Air Force; Sharon loved the life as they moved from one assignment to another.

Sharon is the oldest child of John Jr. and Geraldine Marie Taylor.  She has two sisters, Rhonda Jean and Dawna Faye, both of Las Vegas.  Her brother John Bailey passed away several years ago.

Burial will take place at the Southern Nevada Veterans Cemetery.

Sharon was on the staff of the Desert Breeze as a reporter.  She never complained about her assignment, like a few did.  She was timely in getting her copy done.  She was liked on the staff.  As is the case with so many of my high school friends, life happens and roads that ran parallel soon are separated.  I was happy to see pictures of  Sharon at our 50th Golden Grad celebration.  Unfortunately I missed it, but it would have been great to reconnect.  Rest in peace, Sharon.           -30-
