In Memory

Kenneth John Mace

Kenneth John Mace was born February 21, 1946 in Las Vegas, to parents Martel and Dorothy (Thacker) Mace, who were formerly from Southern Utah.

Kenneth, a 1965 graduate of Las Vegas High School, was employed as a driver for the Clark County Road Department.  He had previously been employed for seven years as a bartender at Caesar's Palace and had lived in Las Vegas his entire life.

He took his own life on January 26, 1977, having suffered from severe depression over losing his vision. He was survived by his parents and a sister, Carol Mace, of Las Vegas.

Services were held January 29, 1977 at Palm Memorial Park (Downtown), where he is interred in the Garden of Eternity.  In lieu of flowers, the family requested donations be made to the Foundation for the Blind.
