Suicide January 14, 2013

Michele Teriano, 65, a resident of Henderson, Nevada, passed away on January 14, 2013. She was born on August 7, 1947, in Cincinnati, Ohio. Michele lived with her Gram and Papa until she was seven years old. She then moved with her mom to Las Vegas, Nevada. 

Michele grew up in the shadow of the Desert Inn Hotel and attended Paradise Elementary School and Las Vegas High School, where she was a member of the Class of 1965.

She enjoyed dancing, traveling, and her many friends. She worked in retail, and volunteered at St. Rose Hospital and the Nevada SPCA.

Much of her life was spent taking care of animals, her own and others—this was her true passion. 

Michele was preceded in death by her parents, Ben and Dottie Goffstein, and her niece, Jessie FitzSimons.

She is survived by her sisters, Faith Goffstein and Hope Goffstein; nieces, Taylor Cohen and Jackie Cohen; nephew, Devin FitzSimons; and great-nephew, Ben Cohen.
