Cynthia Christina DiFiore-Braidotti, 64, of Brookline, Mass., born Sept. 9, 1947, in Lincoln, Neb., and a four-year resident of Nevada, passed away Nov. 22, 2011, from a long battle with cancer.

She was a resident of Boston for 11 years; she previously resided in West Chester, Pa. She also lived in Las Vegas and taught Spanish at UNLV back in the 1970's.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Virginia DiFiore. She is survived by her two children, Regina Braidotti and Sandro Braidotti; and a former spouse, Erminio Braidotti; her father, Vincent J. DiFiore, 101 years old; four brothers, Dick, Dr. Kent, Jim and John, and their families; two sisters, Anne DiFiore-Will and Maggie DiFiore, and their families; two aunts; and many cousins, and dear friends who helped her through her illness from beginning until the end.

Per her request, her body was donated to the Harvard Medical School for research. Services will be private. Please send any and all donations to a Cancer institute, of your choice. She will be dearly missed.
