Catherine M. D'Amora, 54, of Las Vegas died Wednesday in Las Vegas. She was born Dec. 8, 1947, in Brooklyn, N.Y.  A resident of Las Vegas for 38 years, she was a retired federal government claims representative.  

She is survived by seven sisters, Rosemarie Isabella, Elizabeth Slocum, Teresa Reynolds, Jean D'Amora and Donna McCamish, all of Las Vegas, and Susan O'Reilly and Nancy Palmateer, both of Henderson; and two brothers, James D'Amora and John D'Amora, both of Las Vegas.  

A memorial service was held at Palm Mortuary, 7600 S. Eastern Ave., Las Vegas, NV
