Scott Fredrick Beck was born September 5, 1947 in Winona County, Minnesota to parents Stanley Fred Beck and Maylo Charlotte Quamen. The family moved to Las Vegas, Nevada where Scott graduated from Las Vegas High School in 1965. A resident of Sacramento, CA for some time, Scott moved back to Las Vegas where he passed away April 2, 2001, age 53.
He is survived by son Sean Beck, and granddaughter Morgan Beck.

Scott was my first boyfriend and we dated on and off through high school. We were married for a short time and have a wonderful son named Sean and granddaughter, Morgan Beck, who is 21 and attending college in Florida. I hadn't seen Scott in many years when he passed away but I do know that he was in the process of moving back to Las Vegas at the time.

Diane, I knew Scott very well from JC Fremont thru LVHS. I remember when you 2 were married and lived in that apartment on 15th. He was a friend for a long time. He called me from Sacramento wanting to get together. I believe it was a short time before he passed away. I knew he had real painful back issues. It was good to hear from him but we never did get together like we had hoped.
